2. Sweepstakes Period: Campus Registration begins at 12:00:01 p.m. Pacific Time (PT) on April 17th, 2006, and ends at 11:59:59 a.m. PT on June 20th, 2006. The Sweepstakes begins at 12:00:01 p.m. Pacific Time (PT) on June 27th, 2006, and ends at 11:59:59 a.m. PT on September 29th, 2006 (the “Sweepstakes Period”). Dates are subject to change. Entries must be received and recorded within the Sweepstakes Period. Sponsor’s computer is the official timekeeping device for this Sweepstakes.
3. To Enter: Visit http://www.voteforkeane.com during the Sweepstakes Period, and follow the online entry instructions by clicking on the indicated icon, banner or text link. Complete the official web site entry form and follow the instructions for submitting an entry. Any other form of Internet or e-mail entry is void. Limit one (1) entry per person/e-mail address/address during the Sweepstakes Period. Any attempt by any person to obtain more than the stated number of entries by using multiple/different e-mail accounts, or any other methods will void all of that person’s entries and that person may be disqualified.
4. Drawing: A drawing will be conducted on or about October 9th, 2006, from among all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period by Sponsor or its designee, whose decisions are final and binding in all matters relating to this Sweepstakes. Winners will be notified via mail, express mail, e-mail and/or phone on or about October 23rd, 2006. Winner may not substitute, assign, or transfer prizes, or redeem prizes for cash, but Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prize with a prize of equal or greater value should the advertised prize become unavailable. Should a prize be won by a minor in his/her jurisdiction of primary residence, all affidavits, releases and undertakings, set forth in these Official Rules must be executed and undertaken by the parent/legal guardian of the minor, both on behalf of parent/legal guardian and the minor, or prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate Winner. In addition, the campus registrant on the winning campus will receive an Apple iMac G5 Computer (ARV: $2,000). Expenses and costs not stated are solely the responsibility of the winner. Prizes pictured on web site may differ from those actually awarded. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
6. Conditions Of Participation: Participants agree (a) that Sponsor, Universal Music Group, their respective parents, subsidiaries and affiliated companies, advertising and promotion agencies, and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents (individually and collectively “Releasees”) will have no liability whatsoever for, and shall be held harmless by participants against any liability for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind to person(s), including death, or property resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of any prize or participation in this Sweepstakes or any Sweepstakes-related activity; or for any typographical or other error in the printing, offering or announcement of any prize; and (b) except where legally prohibited, winners grant (and agree to confirm that grant in writing) permission for Sponsor and those acting with or under their authority to use his/her name, photograph, voice and/or likeness, for advertising, trade and/or publicity purposes without additional compensation in all media now known or hereafter discovered, worldwide and on the Internet and/or World Wide Web, without notice, review or approval. Prize winners will be required to complete, sign, and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release and, where lawful, a Publicity Release within ten (10) days of notification. If documents are not returned on a timely basis, or if any prize notification or prize is returned as non-deliverable, or if a winner is found to be ineligible or not in compliance with these Official Rules, such prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner. Taxes are solely the responsibility of the winners. Limitations of Liability: Releasees are not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, incomplete, non-delivered or unintelligible entries or email; or for interrupted or unavailable satellite, network, server, Internet Service Provider (ISP), web site, telephone or other connections, availability or accessibility, or miscommunications, or failed computer, satellite or cable transmissions, or lines, or technical failure or jumbled, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected transmissions, or computer hardware or software malfunctions, failures or difficulties, or other errors of any kind whether human, mechanical, electronic or network or the incorrect or inaccurate capture of entry or other information or the failure to capture any such information. Persons who tamper with or abuse any aspect of this Sweepstakes, as solely determined by the Sponsor, will be disqualified. Entries generated by a robotic, programmed, script, macro or other automated means will be disqualified.
